Three internationally renowned sculptors came to the First Anguilla Sculpture Symposium — the first event of its kind in the Caribbean —  and created new, imaginative works inspired by the island's history, culture and natural beauty.

Free and open to the public, this 3-week event offered visitors the unique opportunity to learn first-hand about public art and to watch the artists in action as they transformed raw limestone into original public art works. The pieces they produce will remain on permanent display on Anguilla.

This beautiful film by Jessica Bensley tells the story of the First Anguilla Sculpture Symposium.
